Maarten Mol-Huging

Maarten Mol-Huging LLM advises clients on financial regulatory issues active within the banking, financial, payments, insurance and FinTech markets, with a particular focus on prudential regulation and capital requirements (CRR, IFR and MiCAR).

Prior to joining Regulatory Counsel | Financial Services Maarten Mol-Huging graduated cum laude at the VU Amsterdam in International Business Law in 2022 on his thesis titled: The Biggest Challenge yet for EU Mortgage Lending: The Onset of Artificial Intelligence Tooling. Before the VU, Maarten obtained a Dutch law Bachelors at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, where he was on the board of the corporate law study association. He further succesfully completed the specialised EBI master in EU Banking and Financial Regulation at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in 2024, graduating with a thesis on (CET1) regulatory capital instruments.
