Summary

Maarten Mol-Huging LLM advises clients on complex financial regulatory issues active within the banking, financial, payments, insurance and FinTech markets, with a particular focus on prudential regulation and capital requirements for investment firms and banks (CRR, IFR and MiCAR). Moreover, Maarten greatly interests himself for the intersection of technology (e.g., AI) and financial regulation.

Prior to joining Regulatory Counsel | Financial Services Maarten Mol-Huging graduated cum laude at the VU Amsterdam in International Business Law (LLM) in 2022. Before the VU, Maarten obtained a Dutch law Bachelors at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.  He further graduated (with distinction) from the specialised EBI master (LLM) in EU Banking and Financial Regulation at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in 2024.
